As one of the easier holes on the front nine, number six is a hole that better players usually try to attack if the hole location is not tucked. Many low handicappers use a three wood off the tee to find the fairway. Those who use drivers must either fly the two fairway bunkers or play down the right side. The right side offers the player a bail out play and will until some newly planted trees mature. Approach shots are not particularly a challenge unless the hole location is in the back right corner of the green. The green is two-tiered with a substantial swale running across the back third. To make a par or birdie, you need to stop the approach on the corner tier.
