Straightaway / Elevated Green: This difficult short par four can be played several ways. With a fairway bunker located 130 yards from the green and a narrow fairway, some players choose to lay-up with their tee shot. Usually a long iron or medium fairway wood is adequate. For those who wish to have a shorter shot, the bunker can be carried with a 245 yard carry from the blue tees. This will leave a short wedge shot. The green is difficult to say the least. With an elevation change of four feet from front to back, it is best to play to the proper tier. The easiest hole location is in the front, however, the approach must be on the front tier. There is also a ridge which runs diagonally, left to right, through the top tier.
