This par four has a demanding tee shot. The landing area narrows to less than 25 yards and is pinched by a long fairway bunker on the right and a thick stand of pines of the left. A wayward hook can also land the golfer in a lake which extends down the left side up to about 170 yards out from the green. Some long hitters will lay-up with their tee shots, however, a large yawning bunker protects the front of the green and the green slopes away from the approach area as well as being elevated somewhat. The well-struck approach shot will find a flat putting surface which is not too difficult to putt. It is getting to the putting surface that is the challenge on this hole.
