Number 11 is a test of the payer's patience. The tee shot must be well struck. The wandering tee ball will find a tree-lined roughs which provides little opportunity to play the approach area. A good tee shot will afford the golfer the opportunity to play a fairway wood to a narow, elevated landing area. Very long hitters must consider a long iron play because of a lake which comes into play on the right of the fairway and green. A good drive and solid lay-up shot will leave the player with a short iron to a long, undulating green which is guarded by a front-left bunker, the lake and a large palm tree on the right side. Front-left and back-right hole placements can be hard to get at. Par is a good score on this hole.
